Were these advisors employees of Ameriprise? Did Ameriprise allow these advisors to continue to do work with Ameriprise after their wrongdoing was detected? Could it be that Ameriprise paid restitution and severed the relationship with the offending individual advisors? Lawyers have been convicted of crimes. Does that make all lawyers bad?
